  We are very happy that we chose New Leaf Homes to build our dream home in Reynolds Lake Oconee. The whole experience of working with them was easy and stress-free. Having never built a house before, we relied on the New Leaf team to help us understand the process along the way, which they did very well. Their guidance was always helpful to our decision-making, and we never felt pressured. Although there were questions about how large the house should be, their designer gave us the house we needed and wanted. While living nine states away New Leaf was also very attentive to our need for updates and progress reports. Some friends told us we were crazy to do a long-distance build, but we put our trust in New Leaf and were not disappointed. When we had to come down for certain approvals or make choices about fixtures, Tracey was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and efficient, and David, our personal builder, was a rock! Along with Peter, these are good people who are very professional and a pleasure to work with! New Leaf is quality through and through!  

  We are very pleased with the construction of our home with New Leaf Custom Homes. The Company is well organized, friendly and produce a quality product. From the initial visit to the final stages the process ran smoothly. We lived in Illinois during construction and there was never a time we were concerned with the construction. The staff kept us informed of what stages the construction was in thru emails and photos and they were always available to answer any questions we might have had. The builder was very conscious of his work and treated our home like he was building the home for himself. The designer was exceptional as well. She stayed within our budget and was very helpful in making design selections. We have built homes in the past but this one by far surpasses them all. We would highly recommend New Leaf Custom Homes if you are looking to build.  

  It is with genuine pleasure and satisfaction that we recommend New Leaf Homes. We met with other builders, but after meeting the New Leaf team, we knew we found an experienced team we trusted to build our home. Communications were responsive with timely call-backs. We were living in North Carolina while our home was being built, however, we never felt the distance to be an issue since everyone kept us informed daily of the progress. Tracey, the interior designer, was very helpful in guiding us through all of our choices and helped us find the right resources. There were never any surprises, or any additional costs that weren’t fully discussed/explained in advance. The final cost of our homes was within a few dollars of what was quoted at the start of the project. New Leaf also has an awesome “fix It” man Stephen who is very dedicated to making things “just right”. He is courteous and very professional. Overall, building a home with New leaf was a great experience and excellent choice.  

  We had a very positive experience with New Leaf Homes through the design, build and warranty phases of our new home at Reynolds Lake Oconee. The entire team demonstrated a commitment to understanding our needs, educated us on the specifics of building within a planned community, partnered seamlessly with the Reynolds Architectural Review Board, and provided us with options to consider throughout the design/build process without us feeling like we were being pressured or ‘sold to.’ The New Leaf Homes team understood our desire to blend together some of the best elements from multiple floor plans, and their architects and design group really helped us pull off a design that works. Having previously designed and built a custom home in Atlanta we were somewhat apprehensive about a build process that we couldn’t monitor each day – the New Leaf Homes team worked hard to update us on progress each step of the way, provided photos of key build events, and communicated critical milestone dates in advance allowing us to be on-site for key reviews. As we met with various sub-contractors during the build we continued to hear about the caliber of the New Leaf Homes team. It is clear that New Leaf values the relationships built over years with their sub-contractors, and they clearly hold their sub-contractors to a high standard. The result is that New Leaf Homes delivered a beautiful home for our family to enjoy. As we progress through the warranty period, they have been timely and responsive to any issues that arise; and they have always demonstrated a ‘can do’ attitude to addressing our concerns.   Working with the New Leaf Homes team was a real pleasure. My husband and I moved into our lovely new home in November of 2015. After interviewing two builders, we chose New Leaf for three reasons. First, we were impressed with the honesty and integrity of Manager, Peter Field, and Area Manager, Bob Hatfield. Secondly, after several meetings with Peter, Bob and the team, my husband and I knew they listened and understood our vision for our retirement home. Lastly, New Leaf Homes had built two model homes on Holts Ferry Road in Reynolds Lake Oconee, so we were familiar with the quality of their work. Overall, the building process moved along quite smoothly. Since we began building our home when we still lived out of town, we would regularly receive pictures with comments/questions regarding each stage of building. Tracey Conway, the Selection Coordinator, was great to work with. She and I collaborated well together when choosing materials and designs to fit my price point and style. We worked in the design studio, and she helped me quickly and efficiently make design choices. Of course it helps if you've done your homework, and you can articulate your ideas to Tracey. We've now lived in our home nineteen months, and we absolutely love the finished product! Our craftsmen style home is wonderfully built and we receive compliments on it all the time. The New Leaf team completed our house on schedule and helped us achieve our dream home. We wholeheartedly endorse New Leaf Homes as a reputable local builder in Reynolds Lake Oconee.  

  We came to Reynolds for a visit and came away with a lot. Our next challenge was to find the right builder. We visited with New Leaf who instantly gave us a sense of family. As we started the process, the team worked with us on the plans until we were satisfied with the final product. All along the way, making great suggestions we never thought of but never tried to push us into any decisions…they were all our own. The New Leaf team made the building process simple. They kept us informed of every decision made. Anything that they felt needed our attention was bought to us immediately for our decision. For the interior design of the house, Tracy was invaluable when deciding on design choices. She knew what we liked and pointed us in the right direction every time. After the home was complete, we could not find any real issues with the completed product. Anything we did find was given top priority to be fixed right away. Even after the warranty period, New Leaf stays involved by answering our questions and helping us with anything we may come across.   We had heard the nightmare stories about building a custom home and were prepared for the worst. Of course, there were challenges but what impressed us most was that New Leaf was always and genuinely interested in building exactly what we wanted. We took a stock elevation and floor plan and made several changes. The New Leaf team were nothing but supportive and enthusiastic in accommodating our needs. And most impressive was the communication and response times from beginning to end. We could not be more pleased.

  Having a home built from plans sight unseen would appear to be difficult. However, I must admit New Leaf Custom Homes made it very easy. The fact that I lived 750 miles away during construction did not present any problem because New Leaf Custom Home’ management provided weekly e-mails with photos and scheduled teleconferences to discuss any decisions that I had to make. He indeed made the project very easy for me. Having only visited the site on two occasions during construction including the closing is remarkable to me. I think the house came out better than I imagined. If I ever build again or any of my friends, I would strongly recommend New Leaf Custom Home.
