Mark joined the New Leaf Custom Homes team in 2008. With more than 30 years of experience in the semi-custom and custom home building business, he has developed a proven reputation for integrity, exceptional quality, and results. Mark currently manages the selection and sale of custom and portfolio homes for new clients at Lake Oconee, while managing the organization’s Georgia operations and North Carolina partnership. Mark has an inspiring work ethic; a commitment to building a quality home building team; and a passion to lead an effective client process that produces an outstanding finished home product. Before joining New Leaf Custom Homes, he built homes and served in executive management and operation roles for 3 large building companies in the Southeast. Mark graduated from Michigan State University with a BS in Building Construction Management. He is a current member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and local and national chapter of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Mark lives in Madison, GA with his wife Tracey and three of their children.
David is a Custom Home Builder for New Leaf Custom Homes (NLCH) and is an integral team member in our client-centered process. Before joining NLCH, David owned and operated a successful home building and home remodeling business in Kentucky. David is a very thorough and detailed custom builder that models our Company Core Values of Integrity, Teamwork, Exceptional Quality and Stewardship. He has earned a reputation of being a highly effective home builder at Lake Oconee. He is well organized, very experienced and committed to excellence in his management of Trade Contractors and Vendors. David clearly realizes the importance of giving our NLCH clients superior quality and timely home completion, while being a good steward of the clients resources. David lives in the Lake Oconee area with his wife Lana. They have two adult children.
Tracey is our Design and Purchasing Manager. She has been in the new home construction industry for more than 20 years and has been a licensed Realtor in Georgia since 1998. She understands the entire process of home design, exterior finishes and interior finishes. “I love what I do every day and take my job very serious. Meeting with all our clients personally and helping them through this wonderful process of building their dream home is amazing. Watching a house become a home is the most rewarding feeling! Tracey is one important part of our excellent team of people that work together to assure our clients are 100% thrilled with their new home. Tracey’s construction career began overseeing builder accounts for a large electrical contractor. She was eventually pursued by home building companies and worked her way into Operation Manager positions for several regional homebuilders, overseeing the home building process for over 100+ homes per year. She has had extensive training and job experience in new home sales as well as interior design. Tracey lives in Madison, Georgia with her husband Mark and 3 of their children. Most of her time off work is spent with their children, fury family member Baylor and watching their son Brendan play baseball and football.
Roger is our Director of Architectural Design and is responsible for the management of new product development, design and customization of architectural plans along with design related market research. Roger interfaces directly with the client to create personal custom plans or personal modified portfolio plans. He is also involved with new site evaluations and interfaces with jurisdictional planning, zoning, and permitting authorities. Prior to joining New Leaf Custom Homes, Roger owned and operated Keystone Design Associates where he offered a variety of architectural design services to builders and individual clients. Roger was also Director of Architecture for Atlanta based John Wieland Homes and Director of Design Review for Peachtree City Development Corporation where he co-founded Magnus Homes. Roger has been a professional member of the American Institute of Building Design since 1996, and a Certified Professional Building Designer since 2005. Roger is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Architecture and a concentration in Spanish language. Roger lives in Newnan, GA with his wife Lynn and their youngest daughter.
Mark is our Area Business Manager for the southwest Atlanta homebuilding operation. He has 20 years of experience in residential home construction, renovations, light commercial, and land development. Prior to joining New Leaf Custom Homes in 2013, Mark was a partner and owner/operator of J&J Quality Homes, Inc., a residential homebuilding, and land development company in the south metro Atlanta area. Mark possesses a State of Georgia Residential Basic Contractors License and GSWCC Level 1A Certification. A graduate from Columbus State College in Columbus, GA with a BS in Political Science with an emphasis in Public Administration, Mark also received an Educational Teaching Certificate from West Georgia College in Carrollton, Ga. Mark currently lives in Fayetteville, GA with his wife of 25 years Natalie, and daughter Peyton.
Adam Rice, General Contractor and Partner of New Leaf Homes in North Carolina, is a second-generation builder with more than 20 years experience in commercial construction and custom home building. As both a licensed General Contractor and a skilled, hands-on craftsman, Adam’s comprehensive experience within the building industry gives him a better understanding of all aspects of his projects.
This enables him to choreograph large construction projects from start to finish. We deliver superior quality on every aspect of the project, right down to the smallest detail — whether that be our signature exterior coverings, timber works, or fine interior finishes.
Furthermore, Adam’s long-standing relationships with area suppliers and tradesmen assist him in delivering the highest quality of service, on-time and within budget.
NLHNC has the expertise to deliver superior quality and great value for money. As well as turn-key projects, the company also handles projects such as grading, infrastructure development, foundation and retaining wall construction, septic system installation, and framing — all in-house.
Adam, an Indiana native, studied Construction Technology at Purdue University and moved to North Carolina in the 1990s. He lives in Blowing Rock with his wife, Elizabeth and their two children, Isaac and Eli.
